Jerk It Out by Caesars has been just about everywhere recently after being chosen as the music for Apple's new iPod advert.

musicOMH.com reviewed the song on its original release two years ago. Here's what we had to say back then...

If you thought The Hives and The Cardigans had Sweden's music scene all sewn up, just wait until you hear The Caesars.

This four-piece from Stockholm have apparently already made four albums, and are obviously heavily influenced by '60s underground bands. Jerk It Out sounds a bit similar to the classic 96 Tears, thanks to an organ sound that could have been buried in a time capsule. Thankfully, it still sounds incredibly fresh, due to the band's obvious energy.

After a warmly received support slot on Echoboy's recent tour, Jerk It Out could well be the song that proves to be the Caesars well deserved breakthrough.
