Fun & Games is a joyous little ditty that makes me long for those Britpop days again (although Caesars are from Sweden!). They've pilfered every riff, lyric and melody that any Beatles-inspired band have ever created.

Crackin' Up is far superior to Fun & Games. The looping bass and fuzzy guitars embed themselves firmly into your mind and refuse to leave, while the lyrics become so insipid that they are a joy. The last song, however, slows the pace a little and is reminiscent of the Blur song Oily Water. This would have been a good end to a full album but not on a short EP. It would have been nice if they kept it to four punchy lively pop tunes but nonetheless this is a fine CD.

If it was 1996 this band would have been all over the TV and music press. In the year 2002 they may have to fight a little bit harder but hopefully common sense will prevail and they will go on to greater things.
