He's been Acceptable in the 80s, gone out with all the Girls, but now it's back to Calvin Harris's for a party.

"Merrymaking" and even "joy making" are on the menu - and so too is drug taking. Don't think he's gone all rave on his third single release though, as Merrymaking... is actually the cooler cousin of the other two, lower key but still warm enough to raise a smile. It's the type of track that goes on early evening at the party, though the remixes are more peak time - feisty electro from Mr Oizo, funky house from Kissy Sell Out and good, solid grooves from Deadmau5.

In fact, I'd wager it's worth acquiring for the remixes alone, since they put a few alternative slants on a fine song - one that confirms Mr Harris is no one-trick pony, even if he is rather close in style to a certain Mr Mylo MacInnes.
