It's an odd one, the new single from Captain and the first offering off their forthcoming second album Distraction.

On the one hand, it seems to lack the glamorous, shiny pop polish of their earlier efforts but on the other, this does in itself show progression (which is a good thing) and half way through it seems to change tempo and suddenly become more interesting.

Overall, we're going to let them off, mainly because we always find ourselves Keeping An Open Mind with Captain. A guilty pleasure who are better than they ought to be while sounding like a sequin-clad version of The Feeling we can hardly slag them off for shrugging away this slickness. Trying to sound more like My Life Story is a good thing, honest, and their organs suit the attempt well. So do as they tell you, at least until the album appears.
