C & C Music Factory - Sweat (Everybody Dance Now) (Megabop)

Another old school anthem reclothed, with a C & C Music Factory remix album on the way. Sweat has the belting vocal clip "everybody dance now" with nothing held back from the brilliantly named Freedom Williams. Unfortunately the accompanying rap doesn't really hit the spot lyrically - firmly rooted in the early '90s and reminiscent of similar efforts from Snap.
Three other mixes to choose from - a stronger breaks rhythm from Jack Funk, a heavier house number from MMD that plods rather, and a tribal effort from Cheyne Christian that completes a rather unconvincing set.
Good for the vocal then, but not really suggesting enough inventiveness to merit a second release.
