Cherryfalls are obviously a band with their heads screwed on. Some bands appear in a blaze of glory, release a heavily hyped album and then quickly find public opinion turning against them. Not these guys though, who have spent 2004 quietly releasing a series of singles.
In Your Arms Again is their third single, and is their best yet. Lead singer Joe McAdam sounds very like Ryan Adams at the start of the song and in fact this wouldn't sound out of place on Adams' Rock N Roll album. Cherryfalls are obviously a band who value quality songwriting, and In Your Arms Again sticks in the mind long after it's finished playing.
So hopefully this stealthy approach will pay dividends for Cherryfalls - there should soon be a loyal audience waiting for that debut album next year.
