The song is built around a bright and beautiful arpeggiated guitar riff - which is promptly ruined by Chikinki's attempt at rock vs electropop, with off-putting synths and a lack of diversity in the actual ingredients of the song.

Fair enough, good idea to create genre defying music, but if it's going to be done, it has to be done well. Chikinki seem too eager to publicise the idea they've had, rather than the music they're creating with that idea. It's ok, but I think I'll leave it.
