Think experimental rock and roll through a fuzz pedal. Think old Bristol jazz nine-piece take on the NME with guitars put through all manner of effects units, and you will be on your way.

Taken from their forthcoming album, Take Me Home, this probably thinks it's more experimental than it actually is. It's not in the same noise bracket as Add N To X, nor as risky - in fact it's quite sonically pleasing. I am sure that live they will lose a lot of their production and end up sounding like noise merchants, but until then this is quite acceptable.

Chikinki will either sink without a trace or be made into Jo Whiley's new flavour of the month.
