This pleasant slice of gentle, sunny soft pop-rock from the singer-songwriter's debut album Twisted City should easily please lovers of Travis and The Lighthouse Family.
Singleton is Irish, London-based, plays all his own instruments and produces his own records. He's got the weight of Universal behind him and his music for the masses is classic Heart FM fodder. There's more to it than just that, though - a couple of nice little keyboard riffs hidden away and a catchy chorus amid laid back verses make it worth listening to more than once.
He's not out to set the world alight, but if you just want music that will put a smile on your face and make you forget your Christmas stress for a couple of minutes, this will do nicely.
