Clams - Cut Me Loose

Cut Me Loose is the second slice of raw, vigorous rock from the Dorset-based rockers Clams, who some are tipping as the new Black Sabbath (!).

In actual fact, Clams are audibly more comparable to The Vines at their wildest, with some Foo Fighters thrown in for good measure. The two and a half minutes of balls out rock and roll, with grooving bass and raucous guitar, is a bit generic perhaps, but is pleasant enough all the same.

Having gathered an strong fan base, received a warm welcome from the mainstream rock press and supported Audioslave, all before the release of their debut album, we have yet to see the real "pearls" that the Clams may have to offer. Here's to the best of British.
