Sea Of Trouble, Cord's second single, precedes the band's debut album Other Peoples Lives (Are Not As Perfect As They Seem), due out in September.
Following first single Winter's top 40 success, Sea of Trouble ups the ante. The track is filled with gently stunning vocals, emotive lyrics and flourishing strings. The subject matter of the track is far from cheerful, but the track has an uplifting feel to it nonetheless.
It's mellow and features some clever use of soft but skilled guitar work to give it a more vibey feel. The drums feel a little heavy to be part of the same track, but it works as a unit.
