Poor Cornershop. Forever condemned to being best known for Brimful Of Asha, a tune that came out eight years ago and had to be remixed by a bloke who calls himself Fatboy Slim, of all things, before it hit the top spot. It's just not fair.

On the strength of Wop The Groove, perhaps they should give Norm a call. Yes, it oozes funk but there's no discernible hook or melody, something that the Pizzaman has coming out of every pore. If you can forget their so far career-defining number one, this is an extremely cool and quirky tune featuring Rowetta on diva duties.

Past glories still cannot be fully put to one side however, with "Norman, coat the groove" seemingly the first words she wails. If only he had done so as even the former Happy Mondays star cannot give this track the X-factor it needs to seriously bother the charts.
