Ignore the worringly psychedelic cover art - Cosmic Rough Riders are purveyors of some of the sweetest guitar pop around.
Despite the fact that they're yet another Scottish band who sound incredibly like Teenage Fanclub, Because You is just glorious. Jangly guitars and sunny harmonies make this the perfect record for lounging around in the warm weather.
It may not be the most original or unpredictable single out there, but only the most hardened of cynics could fail to be charmed by it.
