Crackout are releasing this single ahead of their second album, following on from 2001's This Is Really Neat, so we can get "out of our minds" without delay.
Their lead singer Steven Eagles lists The Cure and The Smiths among his influences, and it isn't hard to hear that sound coming through in their music, though it's joined with a high school beer blast vibe that's more like Jimmy Eat World or Weezer.
This electric jam begins by telling us to sit down and shut our mouths. After the paltry two minutes and 20 seconds of this formulaic party rock piece, I was left wondering why I bothered.
