Crackout are a conundrum. The rhythm structure on the main track, with it's loud-quiet-fast-slow quirkiness, reminds at once of Nirvana - ten years too late and after everybody else has copied them already.
Then there's the lead vocalist, who sounds like a disgruntled version of Robert Smith of The Cure.
And despite such comparisons there isn't even a semblance of a tune. There's better new rock music to turn the volume up for.
