Sadly not a cover version of the early '90s classic by EMF, Unbelievable sees Craig David trying to resurrect a career seemingly rendered moribund by a man with a rubber mask and a kestrel on his shoulder.

It's a smooth soul ballad, but it's deathly dull and hopelessly bland. If you're not stifling a smile at the cliched lyrics (not only is love "something so beautiful, flowing down like a waterfall", Craig also tells us that he "was lost and you've rescued me somehow"), you'll be snoozing at the pedestrain pace and the tastefully plucked acoustic guitars.

No doubt pre-teen girls with their first crush will swoon along to this, but all in all you can't help wishing he'd tried that EMF cover instead - all together now: "The things you say...re-re-wind and Bo Selecta!"
