Seeing Craig David in his last single's video with Sting was a fairly cringe-inducing experience. Both were so earnestly feeding off the kudos they recognised in each other - Sting with his ever-watchful eye to keep himself young and our Craig keeping himself in with the "living legend" crowd - that they probably didn't even notice that the Sugababes surpassed them both with a much better interpretation of Sting's original song.

Still, all water under the bridge - except this new single sees Craig David move another few light years further away from his bo selecta days. World Filled With Love is a breezy, very grown-up-sounding pop song whose intro, quite unexpectedly, sounds almost exactly like The Beatles' nineties comeback single, Free As A Bird. Yes, really.

Above all the Jeff Lynne-style production, however, the soft, silky vocals are unmistakably Craig. But it does beg the question - wherever next?
