Two years on from the refreshingly shambolic spunkiness of Lets Make Love And Listen To Death From Above and Music Is My Hot Hot Sex, CSS are back. And lyrically at least, hedonism and all-round bad behaviour are still on the cards.

Singer Lovefoxxx plays the girl who's been dumped but doesn't give a fig: she's gonna "drink til I pass out" and "jump up on the table and dance my ass off til I die." A drunken lady shaking her booty! So far, so raucous for the Sao Paolo fivesome.

Musically, though, everything's a lot more polite than we've come to expect. After the fuzzed-out electro intro has piped down, Left Behind settles into a glossy, nicely-produced power-pop number full of tuneful riffing and perky chord changes. It sounds more Stockholm than Sao Paolo, pitched somewhere between the Cardigans, the Wannadies and Roxette.

It's happy, radio-friendly stuff: pleasant enough, but may be a disappointment to those who like their Brazilian pop collectives foul-mouthed, grimy, and dripping with electro sleaze.
