Long since residing in the "I thought they'd split up" file, Toni Halliday and Dean Garcia return with a quite beautiful single.

If you remember Curve's heyday in 1992 with the Doppleganger album, then nothing much has changed here. Halliday's deep smooth vocals slide over a darkly pretty melody with a gorgeous chorus of "we stay together for the sake of our memories....surely our souls will perish". The song also features an appearance by My Bloody Valentine genius and occasional Primal Scream guitarist Kevin Shields.

If you're one of the many who fell in love with Curve all those years ago, prepare to be heartbroken once more.
