The D12 World LP was both a critical and commercial success story, if only thanks to the considerable clout of a certain Eminem. How Come follows in the footsteps of smash hit My Band as the latest D12 venture.

As with many Eminem tracks, How Come combines an ominous background drone with a feather-light main riff. Lyrically, however, the track seems to be a step backwards - it's anything but innovative, feeling far too much like the average, run-of-the-mill music often parodied by Marshall and co.

The chorus lacks the depth needed to carry the song, but that's not to say How Come won't be another runaway hit - it's already picking up some major airplay. Going on glories past, however, the band is definitely playing below par on this one.
