Daniel Bedingfield is clearly a talented chap, as he is not only single-handedly trying to write and record a song in every available genre, but can also strut his stuff live, as demonstrated on this "live Radio 2 version" single, Friday.

Friday is fast-paced and furious, but this means the singing is frequently more like shouting, with words tumbling after each other from an increasingly out of breath Bedingfield. The ill-advised West Indian accent fortunately wears off after the first verse.

Despite his talent, Bedingfield appears to have lost his mojo somewhere since Gotta Get Thru This, and the funky bass and drums on this track cannot help him find it this time.
