The second single release from Daniel Wylie's Ramshackle Beauty album, and it seems he hasn't changed really - it's another sun-drenched radio winner, with a sweet and vulnerable opening leading to a tougher chorus with a nagging hook that creeps up on you and stays in the head.
There are some nice, intricate acoustic guitar lines to complement the melody, and a pleasing willingness to beef the texture up in the chorus, with Wylie's distinctive, light vocal just coming out on top.
If you liked Wylie's work with the Cosmic Rough Riders then go for this, as the singer has not thought of messing with a winning formula. It's all been done before of course, but then that's part of the appeal.
