This is the first solo single from the pint sized ex-Cosmic Rough Riders main man Daniel Wylie, and finds the newly arrived solo singer in positive, upbeat mood.
Musically it's not much of a departure from the style of his old band, and proves to be a jangly, feel-good piece of pop with immaculate backing vocals, polished production and a solid guitar line. It's not the most immediate of chorus melodies, and even sounds a little awkward to sing at times, but its positive message is clear.
Wylie sings about a female acquaintance who "tried too hard to open up her mind". Well you won't have to make too much effort here - Make Love To The World requires no work for its message to come through loud and clear.
