They've got a punkette X-Factor reject as their front person, and a ticking electronic beat (at least on Easy Weakness, the stronger of the two songs showcased on their first single).
Releasing a double A-Side with a very dull track - Alone And...- as one half of it is a big mistake. Easy Weakness sounds like their good musical idea, we can only hope the rest of the forthcoming album takes after it, and Alone And... is an aberration.
Easy Weakness has a hook, which it needs to because, to be honest, punky ex-X Lora's vocals aren't that striking. It trundles along briskly to the end without making you turn to the off button, which is more than can be said for the droning second track, but that's really all that can be said for it. Next!
