Ah, reality TV. That bastion of bad cover versions, dodgy attire, and even dodgier contestants.
All too rarely has a true talent emerged from said form of sacrificial ridicule - save for Kelly Clarkson - and though crooning US rocker Chris Daughtry makes his best attempt in the form of debut UK single It's Not Over, it's extremely hard to imagine the desired market latching on to Daughtry's brand of post-grunge bore-rock.
You see, It's Not Over really isn't a bad song. Vocally strong, and with a guitar lick that'd get your gran going, it's not all that far removed from the stadium sized crunchers Bon Jovi and co churn out on a yearly basis. But it's just a little late. We've heard it all before, and we really don't need to hear it all again.
