David Guetta - Love Don't Let Me Go (Virgin)
UK release date: August 19 2002
David Guetta - Love Don't Let Me Go
There's no stopping the French, despite this year's World Cup evidence to the contrary. As everything with a pulse from France instantly gains kudos across Europe, David Guetta is the latest in a long Gallic line to point out to us that our across-the-Channel chums are really rather good at spinning a tune.

Love Don't Let Me Go is the first track from Guetta's forthcoming debut album Just A Little More Love, due out later in the year. It's laid-back, so-cool-it-hurts groove instantly reminds of Galleon, and comes backed with two remixes of the track.

If we're still convinced of the absolute coolness of French dance music by then, he stands to notch up a respectable sales figure. Let's hope for his sake we aren't thoroughly bored by the genre by then.
