Dextro, better known to family and friends as multi instrumentalist Ewan Mackenzie, has been dubbed Scotland's answer to prolific composer Phillip Glass. Translation: this has been done before.
Hearts and Minds is an ambient affair which neither impresses nor offends. Fuzzy, droning instrumentals - check. Indecipherable mumbling - check. It's all rather predictable. There are elements of Air here and there, but Hearts and Minds lacks the grower factor definitive of the French duo.
A wallflower track which will not capture anyone's heart or mind. Next.
