Taken from the multi-platinum album Life For Rent, Sand In My Shoes is a pleasant little ditty telling of the sinking feeling of coming back from holiday to the realities of normal life. And of course, the aftermath of the holiday romance. "I've still got sand in my shoes and I can't shake the thought of you..."

As one would expect - this lady doesn't seem to put a foot wrong - it's immaculately produced, with a gentle guitar intro, a catchy hook and some interesting percussion as the song develops.

OK, so it doesn't amount to much in the grand scheme of life, but like White Flag before it I suspect it's a song we're going to hear an awful lot of, and will probably stick in our brains in just the same way.
