South London trio Dirty Vegas have taken note of Moby's success with car manufacturers and look set to emulate the little vegetarian. Their first single Days Go By is providing musical backing for a Mitsubishi car ad in the States and the album is doing rather well as a result.

The UK, it would be fair to say, has been slower at catching on to the many reasons to like Dirty Vegas. The name and the cover art are the least of an uber-cool set-up at the centre of which are chilled-out beats, breezy vocals and a so-laid-back-it's-falling over vibe - the kind of thing you'd happily play just about anywhere to forget just about anything. Chill-out music by another name.

With reference points like the Milk Bar and the Hacienda, there's more than a passing nod to Alpinestars and even New Order. The single comes backed with two remixes, the first by Joeski and the second by Lexicon Avenue - and all self-respecting Prada wearers should already have a copy.
