Whatever label you might apply to it, or whether you think it's a rehash of a late 1990s tune, there's no denying DJ Q's energy and rabble rousing potential.
All it takes is an eight note bassline, heard throughout, while MC Bonez' incessent chat goes with the crowd's pumping "you wot you wot" chants. In a lot of ways it's reminiscent of Double 99's RIP Groove from 1997, and as you'd expect sounds great in a club.
It's also given a high energy makeover from the Wideboys, heard here in three variants, that gives it a muscly house profile. Solid and effective, with a strong party vibe.
