She's not been idle in the intervening years, but this single release is clearly marketed as the Swansea chanteuse's push for the big time once again. And to be honest, not much has changed. The voice remains ice chilled, the backing blue-grey in colour with a soothing ambience.
On first hearing the song completely passes you by, but repeated listens reel it in, and gradually it takes root in your head. Now where do I remember that happening before? Ah, 1996, such heady days!
