Is your local drinking establishment a kitsch, upmarket drinking haunt? Well if it is, and in London, then chances are Dr Rubberfunk will have spun toons in the DJ booth while you, the good paying customer, parted with your slightly above average wage for inflated city prices.
The doctor's prescription of bossa, some healthy jazz and a touch of his trademark break beats provide the perfect sedative for cushy city lounge bar sessions best spent with a few friends and glasses of white.
For added effect there are a few supplementary's: see-sawwy synth beats (think Daft Punk), tropical flavoured percussion chillout and some funky old sKOOL face-offs with Gangstarr and De La Soul. The Doctor's reputation precedes him, so if you know your bars then save your cash. Otherwise scour the 12" section at all decent record stores.
