This release is an important landmark for 24-year-old Sussex singer-songwriter Ed Harcourt, marking as it does the first single from his new album. His debut, the Mercury nominated Here Be Monsters, won rave reviews - and this is the first indication as to the quality of the follow-up.

The signs are good. All Of Your Days Will Be Blessed is an anthemic, hook-laden beauty, Harcourt's rich, vibrant vocal driving the track forward over a naggingly repetitive organ loop, which harks back to Supergrass' 1996 hit Going Out.

Ironic really, as Harcourt recently supported Supergrass on tour. If he maintains this standard of songwriting though, it won't be long before he's the one with the star status.
