They've been a word-of-mouth cult success story for the past few years, but it's a mystery why The Egg aren't up there with other electronica bands such as Zero 7 and Air.

Walking Away employs the vocal talents of Sophie Barker (to be heard on more than a few tracks by the aforementioned Zero 7 of course) and her voice perfectly complements this blissful, languid track. It's dreamy with a dark side, a guitar riff appearing at times to contrast with the synth sounds.

The boys from Grand National are on remix duties for the B-side and provide a harder edge than the original track - it's a good listen, but doesn't quite match the otherworldly beauty of the original version.
