What is with this song? It started off as a perfectly pleasant little ditty by Steve Harley in the 1970s and now you can't move without hearing a cover version of it. First it was the Fame Academy lot, now it's Erasure.

The second single to be taken from the truly appalling Other Peoples Songs album, this sees Vince and Andy switching on the Casio and phoning in a performance that may please their accountants (because as bad as this is, it will still chart), and die hard fans, but nobody else.

The sad thing about this is that Erasure are a damn good pop band when they put their mind to it. This may have been a labour of love for the boys, but it's just painful for the rest of us.
