It's literally minutes since we managed to get Esser's previous single Headlock out of our heads, and now here he comes again with yet another sterling single.

A curious sense of time travel greets Satisfied as it seems to come from a different place and time entirely. Channelling the spirit of the capital in the late 50's, Esser has captured the sounds of calypso as it hit the streets and declared "London is the place for me." Add in a few craftily placed crackles and pops and this could pass for an old 7 inch that's been dug out of a box in a darkened and damp backroom in a second hand record shop.

A brilliantly catchy piano riff worms its way into your skull and nestles up alongside Headlock - thanks Esser - while you listen to how women will ultimately crush your heart and spirit but not before getting a load of shoes off of you first. Such lyrics are never going to win Esser any awards, but since when were lyrics really important with calypso? It's all about having fun and dancing on through the night. If she's not Satisfied with that Mr. Esser, then put it down to experience and walk away. Either that or play her your Mad Professor remixes, that should do the trick.
