Faultline - Wild Horses / Biting Tongues (EMI)
UK release date: 10 May 2004
Auf Der Maur - Real A Lie
Faultline (or David Kosten to his friends) re-release the Your Love Means Everything LP in a few weeks, and it features such musical luminaries as Chris Martin, Wayne Coyne and Michael Stipe. As you'd expect, this double A-side is dripping with quality.

Both tracks have been two years in the making and you can tell: Wild Horses is a slow burning, lo-fi epic featuring the considerable vocal talent of Joseph Arthur ("Wild, wild horses / Couldn't drag me away"), whereas Biting Tongues is dark and moody dub featuring the tribally monotonous Ras B.

Double A-sides are rarely so eclectic, and I can't think of a better way to whet the appetite for the album.
