Just when you think Feeder might be meandering rather too close to those white lines in the middle of the road that is FM rock, they throw open the windows and attack the senses once more. Lost & Found starts with a couple of handclaps - bound to work well live - and then takes a snatched breath before plunging headlong into the kind of chorus that's given them a stab at the big time.

The band are far more vitally charged when they're rocking out like this, and Grant Nicholas sounds much more up for it. While this sticks rigidly to a quiet-loud formula the quieter passages are given an electro drum track to accompany them, rather like someone pressing 'start' on a primitive keyboard. It heightens the contrast when the drums and guitars fully kick in.

A worthy addition to their forthcoming best of then, and a surge of energy to blow away the cobwebs at the start of the day.
