Low: The Kooks. People who use the word 'literally' when the actually mean 'metaphorically'. People who seem to be unduly anal about semantics. The smell of burning tents on an English festival weekend.

Lower: Parking wardens. Keane. The Darkness. The fact that the previous two are collectively setting the whole 'drugs-n-music' movement back several decades. Sandi Thom. Sandi Thom's friends. Sandi Thom's record label. Sandi Thom's pet rabbit. Dido. Syphilis.

Lowest: Sewn by The Feeling. Fill My Little World by The Feeling. Anything The Feeling have ever done since birth, which has basically consisted of a series of artistic statements which are not, as claimed by that Gillespie singer bloke, "a guilty pleasure", but rather a set of twee, smug, callously sentimental setbacks to culture as we know it.
