Fickle Public are walking along the delicate precipice of being another wound-too-tight emo/metal band. Imagine Incubus or Funeral For A Friend: tight, discordant riffs, guitars cranked to the max and a possessed banshee of a lead-singer, hell bent on venting his frustrations on your delicate New Year's ears.

Rattling through two and a half minutes, Just Like I Got... has the standard amount of wailing, guitars distorted to within an inch of their fragile wooden lives and jarring nu-metal melody, but just about enough musical clout to make it stand out.

It's damn near impossible to tell whether Ms Cox actually is the theme of the song, but it's hardly a title you're likely to forget, and with a name like Fickle Public there is bound to be some kind of swipe at celebrity going on somewhere.
