This is the debut single from the singer/songwriter being touted as the UK’s answer to Leann Rimes. By her PR people that is. If this is a sign of what’s to come she has about as much chance of being the UK’s answer to Busta Rhymes! From the Irish folk tint to the random rock guitar solo this whole thing is just risible.

The slow melodic opening lurches without warning into a bubblegum-pop chorus so over-produced it would have made B*Witched wince. The lyrics themselves are puerile drivel and based upon the concept that boys who live of their parents’ money are Daddy’s Girls. Erm, ok. Assuming of course you actually listen to this for long enough to work that out. The ridiculous Winnie the Pooh reference is enough to have the tears running down most people’s cheeks. Oh, and just when you think you’ve suffered enough, there’s also a B-side. You have been warned.

The only reason anyone in their right mind would listen to this would be for comedy value, as it really has to be heard to be believed. You can almost imagine this being a French & Saunders take-off of someone else. We’re all laughing, but in this case the joke is going to be on the record company.
