This dance anthem in the making features two respected producers and a karaoke singer. The vocalist in question, Amanda Wilson, was discovered by the other two - Russell Small (one half of chart bothering 90s duo Phats & Small) and James Wiltshire, who has previous with Donna Summer, Texas and Kylie.

Taking Julie Moore's classic This Time Baby as a starting point, the trio have come up with a good disco-pop track which is equally at home on the dancefloor or the home stereo. It's nothing new, but represents a style of music that seems to be doing very well at present.

Wilson's voice justifies the risk, and how refreshing that a good karaoke performance can lead to a record deal. I really must perfect my version of Bohemian Rhapsody.
