Matt Cantor and Aston Harvey are relative unknowns to the masses, which is difficult to believe considering they've released 45 records. Oh yeah, and the Freestylers have clocked up 350,000 album sales - not to be scoffed at.
Push Up features guest vocals from Theo loaned out by his band Heist. The track instantly hits with a severe dose of funked up '70s disco vibes. It's a crazy listen, particularly the vocals which are a blend of Michael Jackson and Justin Hawkins, but one which no doubt will be having dance floors shaking throughout the summer.
Plump DJ's remix gives the track a trancier edge for those interested in the B-side. In whatever guise you hear Push Up you'll have - at the very least - your feet tapping.
