Taken from Hours, the Welsh band's brilliant second album, this song has all the packaging of a terrific melodic power rock single.
Produced by the revered Terry Date - who had in the past worked with Soundgarden, Pantera and Deftones - History has an undeniable boldness and strength. It carries an American flavour with its tuneful chorus, smooth guitars, passionate vocals and radio-friendly texture. The infectious chorus is anthemic and should become a live favourite.
History is a great choice for a single release - it is most definitely likeable from the moment the play button is pressed and gives further evidence that, with an abundance of acclaim, awards and a sold-out UK tour, the only way continues to be up for Funeral For A Friend.
