Hailing from various corners of the globe as diverse as Japan, Brazil, and er, Somerset the Ga*Ga*s step forward with a heart full of pride and a songbook full of promise. Armed with the same premise as every rock/metal band ("we want to produce proper good rock n roll"), it is with some relief that we can announce that finally, here is a band that may just be able to live up to the promise.

Infinitely more serious than The Darkness, The*Ga*Ga*s are far more reminiscent of that brief period in history when the LA hair bands decided that grunge might be the way to go. So if bands that sound similar to early Alice In Chains, mid period Almighty and White Noise era Anthrax are your bag you're definitely in for a treat.

Sex itself is as sleazy and dirty as good sex should be. It might be a little one paced in places, but there are surges in all the right places. Singer Tommy Gleeson's skuzzy vocals announce half way through that he wants to "go down" and huge explosions of guitar noise follow this, as the song rushes towards a frenzied conclusion. Leaving the listener fully sated and in need of a rest. It would be fair to say that this is a band you are going to be hearing a lot of over the forth coming year. Just remember, that wearing tasseled leather jackets, cowboy boots, LA Cop shades and listening to Winger was never cool. Thank you.
