This is nowhere near the best cut from The Game's album, and comes as something of a disappointment after the summer anthem that was Hate It Or Love It - not to mention the emotive Dreams. In fact, this piece of indulgence bears a remarkable similarity in chorus to his mentor 50 Cent's Candy Shop, ambling along over a straightforward piano line, supported thankfully by an ass shakin' beat.
Clearly The Game continues to rise above any possibility of an inferiority complex. Lines like; "I'm the rapper wit' clout other niggaz yap about" show how the size of his head reflects the beats - large. There's also some tiresome posturing about how "50 Cent know I'm Compton's most wanted when I'm ridin' wit' Timbo", one of many references to producer Timbaland and his rolling beats.
Pretty standard procedure then, but don't let that put you off if you're yet to investigate his excellent debut album.
