The man possibly forever doomed to be known as "that Mad World guy" returns with the follow up single to his Christmas Number One.

If you're expecting another understated, piano led mood piece though, you'll be surprised. Broke Window is more representative of Jules' work, being a soft, acoustic led number that's reminiscent of both Simon And Garfunkel and the late Elliott Smith.

It won't replicate the success of Mad World, but it's perfectly pleasant listening. The problem is though that being perfectly pleasant won't move Jules out of the shadow of the song that made him famous.
