One of the many stand-out tracks from Gemma Hayes' Mercury-nominated Night On My Side album, this is an excellent illustration of why the Irish singer's reputation is currently sky high.

A sad tale of unrequited love with an achingly yearning lyric ("as the train pulls out I knew you loved her more"), this has a chorus that will haunt your brain for days, and a vocal to fall in love with. The single comes backed with two new songs and the Back Of My Hand video.

The album gives a more rounded example of how talented Hayes is, but this will make a perfect introduction for the uninitiated.
