This is the first single of Berliner Konstantin Gropper, who would like to be known as a greetings card message for the duration of his pop career.
And with his exquisitely blended artwork comes a blend of music that could only be described as eclectic, with first track You/Aurora/You/Seaside ushering in a brass band and heavy beats, before giving way to an atmospheric whoosh and a mini breakdown in the middle.
Quirky it most certainly is, though the lack of a discernible tune may not help enormously in the long run. What it does show, however, is Gropper's keen sense of colour and occasion, which Christmas In Adventure Parks manages to reinforce, together with a more serviceable chorus. One to bookmark, as a long player could give him strong durability.
