Depending on your point of view, the most arresting thing about Beck-wannabee Gisli is that he was once in a band called Pornshot. No idea what Google finds if you type that word into its directory, and no doubt faithful visitors to musicOMH have no interest in finding out. So we'll leave it there.

However, young Gisli does have his own scrapbook-style website, with his own blog-ish musings on y'know stuff he's been doin', and underlining the Californian stumblebum persona he's dude-ing out with on The Day It All Went Wrong.

And it's OK too. Slacker memories abound (not waking-up, falling on your face in the shower, etc.) If you never bought a copy of The Lemonheads It's a Shame About Ray, get hold of this instead. What disturbs though is how snugly this jus'-getting-along malarkey could fit into the McFly oeuvre. Further proof, if such was needed, that the whirlpool of commerce eventually draws everything to its centre. And you can quote me on that.
